Description
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing in securities of U.S. and foreign issuers, including non-dollar securities and securities of emerging market issuers. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in companies engaged in low carbon electricity, energy efficiency, low carbon transportation, and/or water and resource management, or otherwise involved in seeking to address environmental challenges and/or improve the efficiency of resource consumption.
The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, of the STOXX® Global ESG Impact Index. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in the securities of the underlying index and in ADRs and GDRs based on the securities in the underlying Iidex. The underlying index is an optimized index designed to provide broad market exposure that is tilted toward global companies that score better with respect to a small set of ESG characteristics and to provide the potential for attractive risk-adjusted performance relative to the STOXX® Global 1800 Index.
The investment seeks to track the performance of the MSCI ACWI Sustainable Impact Index. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the underlying index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the component securities of the underlying index. The index is an index composed of positive impact companies that derive a majority of their revenue from products and services that address at least one of the world's major social and environmental challenges as identified by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The fund is non-diversified.
