The investment seeks to provide long-term total return by investing principally in fixed income securities of issuers located anywhere in the world. The fund seeks to provide a high level of long-term total return, which is a combination of income and capital appreciation. It will invest, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its assets in fixed income securities. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 40% of its net assets in securities issued by non-U.S. companies or non-U.S. governments, their agencies, or instrumentalities. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Barclays Global Treasury Ex-US Capped Index. The fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index or in securities that the Adviser determines have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities that comprise the index. The index is designed to track the fixed-rate local currency sovereign debt of investment grade countries outside the United States. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks a high level of total return that is consistent with preservation of capital. The fund invests in a wide variety of debt instruments and income-producing securities. The fund invests at least 65% of its total assets in investment grade debt securities. However, the fund may invest up to 35% of its total assets in debt securities rated below investment grade (commonly called "junk bonds"). The overall average credit quality of the fund will remain investment grade. It is non-diversified.
