The investment seeks total return from current income and capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in Fixed Income Investments. It invests significantly in issuers organized or located outside the U.S. or doing a substantial amount of business outside the US, securities denominated in a foreign currency or foreign currency forward contracts. The fund may invest in securities of issuers with business activities located in emerging market countries or denominated in an emerging market currency. It may invest up to 15% of its assets in securities that are rated below investment grade or the unrated equivalent.
The investment seeks a high level of total return that is consistent with preservation of capital. The fund invests in a wide variety of debt instruments and income-producing securities. The fund invests at least 65% of its total assets in investment grade debt securities. However, the fund may invest up to 35% of its total assets in debt securities rated below investment grade (commonly called "junk bonds"). The overall average credit quality of the fund will remain investment grade. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks high income and some capital appreciation. The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (including any borrowings for investment purposes) in bonds. It may invest in a variety of holdings in an effort to enhance income and achieve some capital growth. Up to 50% of the fund's net assets can be invested in non-U.S. dollar-denominated foreign debt securities. Up to 65% of the fund's net assets can be invested in securities and other holdings that are rated noninvestment-grade (below BBB, or an equivalent rating).
