The investment seeks total return, consisting of income and capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of the fund's net assets in foreign debt securities, including obligations of governments, corporate entities or supranational agencies, denominated in various currencies. It invests in at least three countries or supranational agencies. The fund invests up to 35% of the fund's total assets in debt securities that are below investment grade and up to 5% of the fund's total assets in debt obligations or similar securities denominated in the local currencies of countries that have a sovereign debt rating below investment-grade.

The fund invests in bonds and other debt instruments ("Debt Securities") denominated in Australian or New Zealand dollars. Under normal circumstances, it will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in Debt Securities. For these purposes, Debt Securities include fixed income securities, such as bonds, notes or other debt obligations, denominated in Australian or New Zealand dollars, as well as certain derivatives and other instruments described herein. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks long-term total return consistent with its value-oriented investment approach. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets (including, for this purpose, any borrowings for investment purposes) in fixed income securities issued by governments, government agencies or instrumentalities including government-sponsored entities and supra-national entities. It invests primarily in fixed income securities that may also provide the potential for capital appreciation. The fund is a global fund that invests in issuers located throughout the world, including in emerging countries. It is non-diversified.
