The investment seeks total return. MFS invests the fund's assets in equity securities and debt instruments. Equity securities include common stocks and other securities that represent an ownership interest (or right to acquire an ownership interest) in a company or other issuer. Debt instruments include corporate bonds, foreign government securities, U.S. government securities, asset-backed securities, and other obligations to repay money borrowed. MFS seeks to invest between 40% and 75% of the fund's assets in equity securities and at least 25% of the fund's assets in fixed-income senior securities.
The investment seeks capital appreciation over the long term; the fund also considers the potential for current income. The fund invests in equity securities, bonds, money market instruments, and other instruments including derivatives. It has a target asset class allocation of approximately 80% equity securities and 20% fixed-income securities. The actual asset class allocation can deviate from time to time from these targets as market conditions warrant. The implementation of the asset allocation may involve the extensive use of equity and fixed-income ETF. The fund also may invest in investment-grade and below-investment-grade fixed-income securities.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
