The ETRACS Monthly Reset 2x Leveraged S&P 500® Total Return ETN (NYSE: SPLX) (“SPLX” or the “ETN”) is an exchange-traded note linked to the monthly compounded 2x leveraged performance of the S&P 500® Total Return Index (the "Index"), less the Accrued Fees. The S&P 500® Total Return Index is a capitalization-weighted index composed of 500 US common stocks (the "Index constituents").
The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, the monthly compounded 2x leveraged performance of the S&P High Yield Dividend Aristocrats® Index. The index is designed the measure the performance of the 60 highest dividend yielding S&P Composite 1500 Index constituents, which have followed a managed-dividends policy of consistently increasing dividends every year for at least 25 consecutive years.
The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, the monthly compounded 2x leveraged performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend IndexSM. The index represents the top U.S. stocks as measured by dividend yield, selected annually and subject to screening and buffering criteria.
