Description
The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund pursues its investment objective by investing, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets in securities of companies that the portfolio managers believe will benefit significantly from advances or improvements in technology. The fund implements this policy by investing primarily in equity securities of U.S. and foreign companies selected for their growth potential. It normally invests in issuers from several different countries, which may include the United States. The fund may, under unusual circumstances, invest in a single country.
The investment seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Market Vectors® US Listed Semiconductor 25 Index (the "Semiconductor Index"). The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities that comprise the fund's benchmark index. The Semiconductor Index is comprised of common stocks and depositary receipts of U.S. exchange-listed companies in the semiconductor sector. Such companies may include medium-capitalization companies and foreign companies that are listed on a U.S. exchange. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the NASDAQ-100 Technology Sector Index(SM). The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets (including investment borrowings) in common stocks that comprise the index. The index is an equal-weighted index based on the securities of the NASDAQ-100 Index(R) that are classified as "technology" according to the Industry Classification Benchmark classification system.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
