Description
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation with lower volatility than the broad U.S. equity markets over full market cycles. The fund invests primarily in exchange-traded funds ("ETFs"), including inverse ETFs that invest in equity and fixed-income securities of both U.S. and non-U.S. corporate and governmental issuers. The advisor seeks to maintain lower volatility than the broad U.S. equity markets over full market cycles.
The investment seeks total return. The fund indirectly will bear its proportionate share of all management fees and other expenses of the underlying funds in which it invests. Therefore, the SMI Dynamic Allocation Fund will incur higher expenses than other mutual funds that invest directly in securities.
The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The fund pursues its investment objective by investing primarily in common and preferred stocks. It may also invest in equity investment companies ("underlying funds"), which include domestic and foreign mutual funds, as well as in exchange traded funds ("ETFs"), closed-end funds and unit investment trusts. The fund may invest in index funds and index-based investments, such as Standard & Poor's Depositary Receipts (SPDRs), and may invest directly in, or in underlying funds investing in, futures contracts and options on futures contracts.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
