Description
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of publicly traded equity securities of domestic companies that the Advisor believes are undervalued. The companies will be characterized as micro-capitalization and may be unseasoned or established companies. It will invest so that, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the value of its net assets, plus the amount of borrowings for investment purposes, are invested in publicly traded equity securities, including common stocks, preferred stocks, convertible securities, and similar instruments of various micro-capitalization issuers.
The investment seeks investment results that generally correspond (before fees and expenses) to the price and yield of the S&P SmallCap 600® Low Volatility Index. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stocks that comprise the underlying index. Strictly in accordance with its procedures and mandated guidelines, S&P DJI selects for inclusion in the underlying index the 120 securities that it has determined have the lowest volatility over the past 12 months out of the 600 small capitalization range securities that are contained in the S&P SmallCap 600® Index. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of an equity index called the Dow Jones Select MicroCap Index(SM). The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets in common stocks that comprise the index. The index is comprised of selected U.S. micro-capitalization companies chosen from all common stocks traded on the New York Stock Exchange, the NYSE MKT and NASDAQ(R) with limited partnerships excluded. It will normally invest at least 80% of its net assets in common stocks of U.S. micro-capitalization companies which are publicly traded in the United States.

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
