Description
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) are invested in securities of small capitalization companies. The fund manager considers a company to be a small capitalization company if it has a market capitalization, at the time of investment, within the range of the market capitalizations of the companies in the Russell 2000 Index.
The investment seeks to achieve capital appreciation by primarily investing in equity securities. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of small domestic companies. Small companies, according to the Adviser, are companies whose market capitalizations are generally less than $6 billion at the time of purchase. It invests primarily in companies the Adviser believes have above average growth prospects.
The investment seeks capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in securities of small companies. It seeks capital appreciation by investing mainly in common stocks of small companies that the Adviser believes have strong long-term fundamentals, superior capital appreciation potential and attractive valuations.
