Description
The investment seeks to provide capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing primarily in various types of equity securities of small-capitalization companies that Ivy Investment Management Company (IICO), the fund's investment manager, believes are undervalued. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets will be invested, at the time of purchase, in common stocks of small-capitalization companies. For purposes of this fund, small-capitalization companies typically are companies with market capitalizations within the range of companies in the Russell 2000 Value Index at the time of acquisition.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of the SSGA US Small Cap Low Volatility Index. The fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index. The index is designed to measure the performance of the stocks of U.S. small capitalization companies that exhibit low volatility. Volatility is a statistical measurement of the magnitude of movements in a stock's price over time. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its assets in common stocks and other equity securities of small-cap companies. The fund's managers consider companies with market capitalizations below $3 billion at the time of acquisition to be small-cap. The subadviser invests in companies that the advisor believes to be undervalued at the time of purchase.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
