Description
The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund primarily invests in common stocks. It invests in securities of companies whose value FMR believes is not fully recognized by the public. The fund invests in lower-quality debt securities (those of less than investment-grade quality, also referred to as high yield debt securities or junk bonds). It invests in domestic and foreign issuers. The fund invests in either "growth" stocks or "value" stocks or both. The advisor uses fundamental analysis of factors such as each issuer's financial condition and industry position, as well as market and economic conditions, to select investments. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to track the performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment return of small-capitalization stocks in the United States. The fund employs an indexing investment approach designed to track the performance of the S&P SmallCap 600® Index. The Advisor attempts to replicate the target index by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the index.
The investment seeks to replicate the performance of small-sized U.S. companies as measured by the S&P SmallCap 600 Stock Index. The S&P SmallCap 600 Index includes common stocks of 600 small U.S. companies from a broad range of industries. The fund is passively managed. It invests primarily in the stocks that make up the S&P SmallCap 600 Index so that the weighting of each stock in the portfolio approximates the index. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its total assets (which includes the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in the underlying stocks.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
