The investment seeks high current income and limited fluctuations in principal value. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets in fixed income instruments and related derivatives. It seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing principally in a diversified portfolio of fixed income instruments of varying maturities, and related derivatives. The manager expects to invest at least 50% of its total assets in investment grade debt securities.
The investment seeks current income while maintaining a low degree of share price fluctuation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowing for investment purposes) in fixed-income securities that are in the three highest credit categories as ranked by a NRSRO. The dollar-weighted average portfolio maturity of the fund is expected to be three years or less. These investments may include: commercial paper; corporate bonds; U.S. Treasury securities; securities issued or guaranteed by U.S. government entities, agencies or instrumentalities; municipal bonds; U.S. dollar-denominated debt securities of foreign issuers; and etc.
The investment seeks to preserve capital and maximize total return. The fund invests primarily in U.S. dollar denominated fixed income securities that the Advisor believes are undervalued. It may invest in all types of fixed income securities but will typically invest in fixed income securities such as corporate bonds, U.S. government securities and mortgage-backed securities. At least 80% of its net assets (including the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) will be invested in fixed income investments, which include fixed income securities and shares of other RICs that invest primarily in fixed income securities.
