The investment seeks current income, preservation of capital and liquidity. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in "investment grade" fixed income securities. Securities in which the fund invests include corporate debt securities, bank obligations, mortgage- and asset-backed securities and securities issued by the U.S. government and its agencies and instrumentalities. It may invest up to 25% of its assets in U.S. dollar denominated securities of non-U.S. issuers. The fund may also engage in a variety of transactions using derivatives in order to change the investment characteristics of its portfolio and for other purposes.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Universal 1-5 Year Index, which measures the performance of U.S. dollar-denominated taxable bonds that are rated either investment-grade or high yield with remaining maturities between one and five years. The fund invests at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the component securities of the index and may invest up to 10% of its assets in certain futures, options and swap contracts, cash and cash equivalents, as well as in securities not included in the index.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the Bloomberg Barclays 2018 Maturity Corporate Index composed of U.S. dollar-denominated, investment-grade corporate bonds maturing after March 31, 2017 and before April 1, 2018. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its assets in the component securities (including indirect investments through the underlying fund) of the underlying index, except during the last months of the fund's operations. The underlying index is sponsored by Bloomberg Barclays Capital Inc. or its affiliates (the "index provider" or "Bloomberg Barclays"), which is independent of the fund and BFA. The fund is non-diversified.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
