Securities in which the fund invests include corporate debt securities, bank obligations, mortgage- and asset-backed securities and securities issued by the U.S. government and its agencies and instrumentalities. It may invest up to 25% of its assets in U.S. dollar denominated securities of non-U.S. issuers. The fund may also engage in a variety of transactions using derivatives in order to change the investment characteristics of its portfolio and for other purposes.
The investment seeks to provide current income while maintaining limited price volatility. The fund invests in a variety of high-quality and, to a lesser extent, medium-quality fixed income securities, at least 80% of which will be short- and intermediate-term investment-grade securities. High-quality fixed income securities are those rated the equivalent of A3 or better; medium-quality fixed income securities are those rated the equivalent of Baa1, Baa2, or Baa3.
The investment seeks a high level of current income consistent with stability of principal. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowing for investment purposes) in debt securities or preferred stock in at least the "Baa" major rating category by Moody's or at least in the "BBB" major rating category by S&P or unrated securities considered to be of comparable quality by the fund's Adviser. The dollar-weighted average effective maturity for the fund is expected to be between one and five years.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
