The investment seeks current income and long-term total return. The fund has an investment policy whereby at least 80% of the fund's net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) will be invested, under normal circumstances, in fixed income instruments. It normally invests at least 65% of its total assets in "investment grade" securities. The fund may invest up to 35% of its total assets in non-investment grade securities (often called "junk bonds"), as well as bank loans and loan participation interests.
The investment seeks high current income consistent with preservation of principal. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in a broad range of investment-grade debt securities that have a dollar-weighted average portfolio maturity of three years or less. The debt securities in which the fund may invest include, among others, obligations of U.S., state, and local governments, their agencies and instrumentalities; mortgage- and asset-backed securities; corporate debt securities; repurchase agreements; and other securities believed to have debt-like characteristics.
The investment seeks income; long-term capital appreciation is the secondary consideration. The fund invests in both investment-grade and high-yield, non-money market debt securities. These securities may include corporate bonds and notes, government securities and securities backed by mortgages or other assets. The fund may also invest in certain equity securities such as preferred stock, convertible securities or equity equivalents provided that such investments are consistent with the fund's investment objectives.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
