The investment seeks liquidity, safety from credit risk and as high a level of income as is consistent with these objectives. In order to meet its investment objective, the fund invests primarily in high-quality bonds whose interest is guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the United States government and its agencies or instrumentalities. Under normal market conditions, it is the fund's policy to invest at least 80% of its total assets (which includes the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in securities issued by the U.S. government and its agencies and instrumentalities.
The investment seeks a high level of current income in a manner consistent with preservation of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in securities included in the Barclays® U.S. 1-5 Year Treasury Bond Index. It normally maintains a dollar-weighted average maturity of three years or less. The fund uses statistical sampling techniques based on duration, maturity, interest rate sensitivity, security structure, and credit quality to attempt to replicate the returns of the Barclays® U.S. 1-5 Year Treasury Bond Index using a smaller number of securities.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S.1-3 Year Treasury Bond Index. The fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets in securities included in the index. The index includes all publicly-issued U.S. Treasury securities that have a remaining maturity of greater than or equal to one year and less than three years, are rated investment grade, and have $250 million or more of outstanding face value. The securities in the index must be denominated in U.S. dollars and must be fixed-rate and non-convertible.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
