The investment seeks to provide current income and growth of capital. The fund invests primarily in real estate investment trusts (REITs) with successful track records. REITs are pooled investment vehicles which invest primarily in income-producing real estate or real estate-related loans or interests. The advisor intends to invest at least 80% of its total assets in equity REITs and the equity securities of real estate industry companies. It may also invest in mortgage-backed securities, investment-grade taxable municipal obligations, master limited partnerships ("MLPs") and short-term investments.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the Dow Jones U.S. Select REIT IndexTM. The fund invests at least 90% of its net assets in securities included in the index. It generally gives the same weight to a given security as the index does. The index is a float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index comprised of real estate investment trusts ("REITs"). The fund may invest up to 10% of its net assets in securities not included in its index.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the total return of equity REITs and other real estate-related investments. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in securities included in the Dow Jones U.S. Select Real Estate Securities Index℠. It lends securities to earn income for the fund. The fund is non-diversified.
