Description
The investment seeks total return with an emphasis on providing current income, a substantial portion of which will be exempt from federal income taxes. Under normal market conditions, the fund pursues its investment objective by investing primarily in closed-end registered investment companies ("closed-end funds" or "CEFs") that invest primarily in municipal bonds. The CEFs in which the fund invests primarily in investment grade municipal bonds, with an average rating of at least Baa3 or higher by Moody's or BBB- or higher by Standard & Poor's or Fitch Ratings. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks current income and long-term capital appreciation. The Portfolio seeks to achieve its investment objective over a full market cycle through a hedged strategy investing primarily in convertible fixed income and preferred securities (including those rated below investment grade ("junk")). Although its investment focus is U.S. companies, the Portfolio also may invest in non-U.S. companies, including depositary receipts and shares. The fund is non-diversified.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
