Description
The investment seeks to earn a positive total return that exceeds the return on U.S. Treasury bills by 300 basis points (or 3.00%) on an annualized basis over a reasonable period of time (generally at least three years or more) regardless of market conditions. The fund is designed to pursue a consistent absolute return through a broadly diversified portfolio reflecting uncorrelated fixed-income strategies designed to exploit market inefficiencies across global markets and fixed-income sectors.
The investment seeks total return through income and capital appreciation through all market cycles. The fund invests in fixed-income instruments, including investment-grade securities and below investment-grade securities, commonly referred to as "junk bonds." It generally maintains a dollar-weighted average duration profile between -2 and 6 years. The fund may also invest in floating rate loans, and other floating rate debt instruments.
The investment seeks to provide a high level of risk-adjusted current income and capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in mortgage-backed securities ("MBS"). The weighted average maturity of the fund's MBS investments will generally range from between 1 and 10 years and the fund may invest without limit in MBS that are rated below investment grade (i.e., "high yield" or "junk" ratings).

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
