Description
The investment seeks to provide high current income; the fund's secondary investment objective is to seek capital preservation, with the potential for capital appreciation. The fund will invest all of its assets in fixed income and fixed income related securities, using a combination of long-short, long-only and hedging strategies. Fixed income securities in which the fund will invest are anticipated to generally consist of U.S. and foreign fixed income and fixed income related securities of varying maturities and credit quality, including those that are rated below investment grade at the time of purchase.
The investment seeks a combination of total return and prudent management of portfolio downside volatility and downside loss. The fund uses a trend-following strategy that seeks to identify the critical turning points in the markets for high yield bonds and bank loans. It gains exposure to the high yield bond and bank loan markets through investments in investment companies, including open-end mutual funds, exchange-traded funds ("ETFs"), and closed-end funds, including business development companies. It is non-diversified.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
