The investment seeks capital preservation with a secondary objective of total return. The fund allocates its assets primarily to mutual funds that invest in different segments of the fixed income market of any maturity including high yield, U.S. government and Agency debt securities, foreign government debt securities, investment grade U.S. corporate debt securities, floating rate instruments, municipal bonds, convertible bonds and money market funds. It may invest in other mutual funds managed by the fund's investment adviser. The fund may invest in "short" or "inverse" mutual funds to hedge other portfolio exposures.
The investment seeks a high level of total return consisting of both income and capital appreciation. The fund is an actively managed ETF and seeks to achieve its investment objective through direct and indirect investments in debt securities ("Debt"). Under normal circumstances, it will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in Debt. The fund may invest up to 50% of its total assets in securities issued by issuers organized in or that maintain their principal place of business in emerging market countries. It is non-diversified.
