The investment seeks a high level of current interest income exempt from regular federal, Connecticut State and, in some cases, Connecticut local income taxes as is consistent with preservation of capital. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of the sum of its net assets and the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes in municipal bonds that pay interest that is exempt from regular federal and Connecticut personal income tax. These municipal bonds include obligations issued by the State of Connecticut and its subdivisions, authorities, instrumentalities and corporations, as well as obligations issued by U.S. territories.
The investment seeks a high level of current income, exempt from federal income tax and Arizona personal income tax. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in investment-grade municipal securities whose interest is exempt from federal and Arizona personal income taxes. It allocates assets across different market sectors and maturities. The fund invests more than 25% of total assets in municipal securities that finance similar types of projects. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks a high level of interest income that is exempt from both federal and state income tax for individual residents of the state of Connecticut; it also seeks income that is not a tax preference item for purposes of the federal alternative minimum tax. At least 80% of the fund's net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) will be invested in municipal securities that pay interest that is exempt from federal income tax and is not a Tax Preference Item, and any applicable state income tax for individual residents of the state of Connecticut.
