Description
The investment seeks as high a level of current income, exempt from federal income tax, as is consistent with preservation of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in investment-grade municipal securities whose interest is exempt from federal income tax. It normally maintains a dollar-weighted average maturity between two and five years. The fund invests more than 25% of total assets in municipal securities that finance similar types of projects.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the S&P AMT-Free Municipal Series 2018 IndexTM (the "underlying index"), which measures the performance of investment-grade, non-callable U.S. municipal bonds maturing in 2018. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the underlying index, and may invest up to 10% of its assets in certain futures, options and swap contracts, cash and cash equivalents, as well as in securities not included in the underlying index, but which the advisor believes will help the fund track the underlying index. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to provide a high level of current income that is exempt from federal income taxation and to preserve capital. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in investment grade municipal securities whose interest is free from federal income tax, including the federal alternative minimum tax. It will maintain a weighted-average portfolio maturity of five years or less. Although the advisor intends to invest the majority of its assets in tax free securities, the fund may invest up to 20% of its assets in securities that pay taxable interest.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
