Description
The investment seeks total return through income exempt from regular federal income taxes and capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of the sum of its net assets and the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes in municipal bonds that pay interest that is exempt from regular federal personal income tax. It may invest in bonds of any maturity. The fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in taxable debt obligations, including taxable municipal bonds and U.S. Treasury securities.
The investment seeks a high and sustainable level of current income that is exempt from federal personal income taxes. The fund has no limitations on the maturity of individual securities but is expected to maintain a dollar-weighted average maturity of 10 to 25 years. At least 75% of the securities held by the fund are municipal bonds in the top three credit-rating categories as determined by a nationally recognized statistical rating organization (NRSRO) (e.g., Aaa, Aa, and A by Moody's Investors Service, Inc. (Moody's)) or, if unrated, determined to be of comparable quality by the advisor.
The investment seeks interest income that is exempt from federal income tax. The fund invests primarily in investment-grade securities the interest from which is exempt from federal income tax (referred to herein as "tax-exempt securities"). During normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets will consist of tax-exempt securities. The fund's dollar-weighted average portfolio maturity is 10 years or more. At least 80% of the fund's annual net investment income dividends will be excludable from gross income for federal income tax purposes and from the calculation of federal alternative minimum taxes for individual taxpayers.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
