Description
The investment seeks long-term total return. Under normal market conditions, at least 40% of the value of the fund's net assets will be invested in or exposed to obligations of issuers or obligors located outside of the United States. The fund has a broad investment mandate that permits it to use an extensive range of investment strategies and to invest in a wide spectrum of equity and fixed-income securities, as well as derivative instruments, in pursuing its investment objective.
The investment seeks to track the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Cambria Global Asset Allocation Index. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its total assets in the components of the underlying index and in depositary receipts representing components of the underlying index. The underlying index is designed to provide diversified exposure, including inverse exposure, to all of the major world asset classes in the various regions, countries and sectors around the globe.
The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of its underlying index, the IQ Hedge Multi-Strategy Index. The fund is a "fund of funds" which means it invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in the investments included in its underlying index, which includes underlying funds. The underlying index consists of a number of components ("underlying index Components") selected in accordance with IndexIQ's rules-based methodology of such underlying index.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
