The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of companies organized in the United States that the Adviser believes are high quality, though temporarily out of favor. It typically invests in a portfolio of 15 to 35 companies of various market capitalizations and is considered an all-cap strategy. Although the fund will invest primarily in the common stocks of U.S. companies, the fund may invest up to 25% of its assets in common stocks of foreign companies that are organized and headquartered in countries classified as "developed" by MSCI. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The fund will normally invest at least 80% of its net assets (including any borrowings for investment purposes) in companies whose market capitalization (number of shares outstanding multiplied by share price), at the time of purchase, falls within the range of the companies in either the S&P MidCap 400 Index or the Russell Midcap Value Index.
The investment seeks long-term capital growth; income is a secondary consideration. Under normal market conditions, the portfolio managers will invest at least 80% of the fund's net assets in medium size companies. The portfolio managers consider medium size companies to include those whose market capitalization at the time of purchase is within the capitalization range of the Russell 3000® Index, excluding the largest 100 such companies.
