Description
The investment seeks growth of capital. The fund primarily invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings made for investment purposes) in common stocks of U.S. companies with medium market capitalizations. It currently defines medium market capitalization companies as those with a market capitalization within the market capitalization range of the companies represented in the Russell Midcap® Index. The fund primarily invests in common stocks of mid-capitalization companies. It also invests a portion of its assets in real estate investment trusts (REITs). The fund generally holds between approximately 70-95 securities.
The investment seeks to track the performance of the CRSP US Mid Cap Growth Index that measures the investment return of mid-capitalization growth stocks. The fund employs an indexing investment approach designed to track the performance of the CRSP US Mid Cap Growth Index, a broadly diversified index of growth stocks of mid-size U.S. companies. The advisor attempts to replicate the target index by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the index.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of the S&P MidCap 400 Growth Index that tracks the performance of medium capitalization exchange traded U.S. equity securities exhibiting "growth" characteristics. The fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index. The index measures the performance of the mid-capitalization growth segment of the U.S. equity market. The fund is non-diversified.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
