The investment seeks long-term total return. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of companies that Osterweis Capital Management, Inc. believes offer superior investment value and opportunity for growth. It may invest in companies of any size - large, medium and small. The Adviser focuses on companies that the adviser believes to be undervalued or otherwise out-of-favor in the market, but that have attractive growth prospects. It may invest up to 30% of its assets in equity securities of foreign issuers and/or depositary receipts that are traded on domestic or foreign exchanges, including emerging markets.
The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Morningstar® US Market Factor Tilt IndexSM. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in the securities of the underlying index. The underlying index reflects the performance of a selection of U.S. equity securities that is designed to provide broad exposure to the overall U.S. equities market, with increased exposure (or a "tilt") to small-capitalization stocks and value stocks. It may also invest up to 20% of its assets in cash and cash equivalents.
The investment seeks long-term capital growth. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowing for investment purposes) in securities of mid-sized companies. The Adviser focuses mainly on the securities of mid-sized U.S. companies which have market capitalizations similar to those included in widely known indices such as the Russell Midcap® Index or the S&P MidCap 400 Index.
