The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund pursues its investment objective by investing, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities with the potential for long-term growth of capital. The portfolio manager emphasizes investments in companies with attractive price/free cash flow, which is the relationship between the price of a stock and the company's available cash from operations, minus capital expenditures. It may also invest in foreign securities, which may include investments in emerging markets. The fund is non-diversified.

The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in common stocks included in the Dow Jones U.S. Completion Total Stock Market IndexSM, which represents the performance of stocks of mid- to small-capitalization U.S. companies. It uses statistical sampling techniques based on such factors as capitalization, industry exposures, dividend yield, price/earnings (P/E) ratio, price/book (P/B) ratio, and earnings growth to attempt to replicate the returns of the index using a smaller number of securities.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the total return of stocks of mid-capitalization United States companies. The fund invests normally at least 80% of assets in securities included in the Russell Midcap® Index. It lends securities to earn income.
