Description
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests mainly in small- to medium-capitalization companies (namely, companies with less than $7 billion market capitalization at the time of initial purchase) listed or traded on a national securities exchange or on a national securities association. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests 80% of its net assets in common stocks, including for purposes of this limitation common stocks of foreign companies traded as American Depositary Receipts ("ADRs") or American Depositary Shares ("ADSs"), which are dollar-denominated securities of foreign issuers traded in the U.S.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the S&P MidCap 400® (the "underlying index"), which measures the performance of the mid-capitalization sector of the U.S. equity market. The fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in securities of the underlying index and in depositary receipts representing securities of the underlying index. It may invest the remainder of its assets in certain futures, options and swap contracts, cash and cash equivalents, as well as in securities not included in the underlying index, but which the advisor believes will help the fund track the underlying index.
The investment seeks to track the performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment return of mid-capitalization stocks in the United States. The fund employs an indexing investment approach designed to track the performance of the S&P MidCap 400® Index. The index measures the performance of mid-capitalization stocks in the United States. The Advisor attempts to replicate the target index by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the index.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
