Description
The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of U.S. companies of any market capitalization that are the target of shareholder activism. The adviser defines an activist situation as one where an investor holds more than 5% of a company's shares and either (A) has a history of activist investing and/or (B) has a publicly disclosed catalyst for change such as seeking Board seats, improving operations and/or corporate governance practices, approving a merger, spinning-off an operating division or selling a significant amount of company assets. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks investment results that generally correspond (before fees and expenses) to the price and yield of the Russell Midcap® Equal Weight Index (the "underlying index"). The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its total assets in the component securities that comprise the underlying index. The underlying index is designed to provide equal-weighted exposure to approximately 800 securities of medium sized companies in the larger U.S. equity market.
The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance, before the fund's fees and expenses, of an equity index called the Nasdaq US Insider Sentiment Index. The fund will invest at least 90% of its total assets in securities that comprise the index and depositary receipts representing common stocks included in the index (or underlying securities representing depositary receipts included in the index). The index is designed to track the performance of mid- to large-capitalization U.S. companies.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
