The investment seeks to achieve capital growth. The fund invests in equity and debt and debt-like instruments (including high yield bonds commonly known as "junk bonds") of companies whose prices the fund's investment adviser believes are or will be impacted by a corporate event. Specifically, the fund employs investment strategies designed to capture price movements generated by corporate events such as mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, restructurings, refinancings, recapitalizations, reorganizations or other special situations (referred to as "event-driven opportunities").
The investment seeks to achieve positive absolute returns regardless of market conditions over the long-term. The fund primarily invests, under normal market conditions, in equity securities of U.S. and foreign issuers. It primarily buys securities of companies being acquired (the "target company") in publicly announced transactions where the terms of the transaction have been largely defined and disclosed. The weighted average maturity of the fund's fixed income investments will normally range from 3 to 7 years. The fund is non-diversified.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
