Description
The investment seeks to provide long-term investment results that correspond to the total return of the BlackRock CoRI Retirement Index 2023 (the "CoRI Index 2023" or the "index"). Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in fixed-income securities or other financial instruments, including derivatives, that (a) are components of the CoRI Index 2023, or (b) have economic characteristics similar to securities contained in the CoRI Index 2023 and are issued by issuers of securities contained in the CoRI Index 2023.
The investment seeks to track the performance of a market-weighted bond index with a long-term dollar-weighted average maturity. The fund employs an indexing investment approach designed to track the performance of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Long Government/Credit Float Adjusted Index. This index includes all medium and larger issues of U.S. government, investment-grade corporate, and investment-grade international dollar-denominated bonds that have maturities of greater than 10 years and are publicly issued. All of its investments will be selected through the sampling process, and at least 80% of the fund's assets will be invested in bonds held in the index.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Universal 10+ Year Index (the "underlying index"). The underlying index measures the performance of U.S. dollar-denominated taxable bonds that are rated either investment-grade or high yield with remaining maturities greater than ten years. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the underlying index and may invest up to 10% of its assets in certain futures, options and swap contracts, cash and cash equivalents, as well as in securities not included in the underlying index.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
