Description
The investment seeks to provide investors with long-term total return. Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets will be exposed to U.S. exchange-listed equity securities of U.S. and non-U.S. companies by investing in such securities directly and/or in U.S. exchange-traded funds ("ETFs") that provide exposure to such securities. It may invest up to 20% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowing for investment purposes) in U.S. exchange-listed equity index futures contracts. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally, before fees and expenses, to the performance of its underlying index, the VelocityShares Volatility Hedged Large Cap Index. The fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in underlying index ETFs. The underlying index consists of an 85% allocation to the Underlying Large Cap ETFs (split evenly between each Underlying Large Cap ETF) and a 15% allocation to the Underlying Volatility ETFs (such allocation being the "Volatility Component"). The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks current income; capital appreciation is a secondary objective. The fund will pursue its objectives by investing in equity securities listed on U.S. exchanges and by utilizing an "option strategy" consisting of writing (selling) U.S. exchange-traded covered call options on the Standard & Poor's 500(R) Index (the "index"). The call options written by the fund will typically be less than one year. The fund is non-diversified.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
