Description
The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its goal primarily by taking long and short positions in the global securities markets. It primarily invests long in common and preferred stocks and in investment companies ("underlying funds"), which include domestic and foreign mutual funds, as well as in exchange traded funds ("ETFs"), closed-end funds and unit investment trusts. The fund may invest up to 100% of its assets in fixed income securities.
The investment seeks to track the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the WisdomTree Dynamic Long/Short U.S. Equity Index (the "index"). Under normal circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's total assets will be invested in component securities of the index and investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of such component securities. The index includes long U.S. equity positions (the "Long Equity Basket") and, at times, short U.S. equity positions (the "Short Equity Basket"). The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks current income; capital appreciation is a secondary objective. The fund will pursue its objectives by investing in equity securities listed on U.S. exchanges and by utilizing an "option strategy" consisting of writing (selling) U.S. exchange-traded covered call options on the Standard & Poor's 500(R) Index (the "index"). The call options written by the fund will typically be less than one year. The fund is non-diversified.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
