Description
The investment seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests its assets in U.S. equity securities of any size capitalization that the Adviser believes are undervalued and selling short equity securities of any size capitalization the Adviser believes are overvalued. The Adviser focuses on estimating a company's value independent of its current stock price. The fund also will sell securities short. Short sales are effected when it is believed that the price of a particular security will decline, and involves the sale of a security which the fund does not own in hopes of purchasing the same security at a later date at a lower price.
The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation over market cycles with lower volatility than the broad equity market. To pursue its investment objective, the fund establishes long and short positions in equity securities issued by U.S. companies. It will invest at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities issued by U.S. companies; typically, the actual percentage will be higher. The fund typically purchases or sells short stocks of companies that have market capitalizations of $1 billion or more at the time the stock is purchased or sold short.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
