The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund pursues its investment objective by allocating the fund's assets among different asset managers that collectively use various investment styles and strategies, including, for example, fundamental (bottom-up), macroeconomic (top-down), and/or quantitative methods or models, across different markets. It may invest in foreign and domestic equity securities, and debt instruments, as well as derivative instruments, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and other investment companies. The fund is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, the Credit Suisse Tremont Long/Short Equity Hedge Fund Index. The index tracks the performance of non-hedge fund, transparent market measures.
The investment seeks results that correspond generally to an equity index called the CBOE(R) VIX(R) Tail Hedge Index. The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets in common stocks and call options included in the index. The index is composed of each of the equity securities comprising the S&P 500 and an out-of-the-money call option position on the Chicago Board Options Exchange Market Volatility Index. It is non-diversified.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
