Description
The investment seeks long-term capital growth. Under normal market conditions, the fund will invest at least 80% of the value of its assets in securities of Latin American issuers and other investments that are tied economically to Latin America. It may invest in securities denominated in U.S. dollars, other major reserve currencies, such as the euro, yen and pound sterling, and currencies of other countries in which it can invest. The fund may from time to time hedge a portion of its foreign currency exposure into the U.S. dollar. It is non-diversified.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the S&P Latin America 40TM composed of 40 of the largest Latin American equities. The fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in securities of the underlying index and in depositary receipts representing securities of the underlying index. It seeks to track the investment results of the S&P Latin America 40TM (the "underlying index"), which is comprised of selected equities trading on the exchanges of five Latin American countries. The fund is non-diversified.
