Description
The investment seeks long-term growth of capital and, secondarily, current income. The fund invests primarily in dividend-paying equity securities. It invests in securities that the portfolio managers believe are undervalued based on various valuation measures. The fund may invest up to 25% of its net assets in securities of foreign issuers.
The investment seeks to provide an above-average level of current income and reasonable long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests mainly in common stocks of mid-size and large companies whose stocks typically pay above-average levels of dividend income and are, in the opinion of the purchasing advisor, undervalued relative to other such stocks. In addition, the advisors generally look for companies that they believe are committed to paying dividends consistently. Under normal circumstances, it will invest at least 80% of its assets in equity securities. The fund uses multiple investment advisors.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the Russell RAFI U.S. Index. The fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets in stocks included in the index. The index measures the performance of the constituent companies by fundamental overall company scores, which are created using as the universe the companies included in the Russell 3000® Index. It may invest up to 10% of its net assets in securities not included in the index.
