Description
The investment seeks long-term growth of principal and income; a secondary objective is to achieve a reasonable current income. The fund invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of equity securities. It will invest at least 80% of its total assets in equity securities, including common stocks, depositary receipts evidencing ownership of common stocks, preferred stocks, securities convertible into common stocks, and securities that carry the right to buy common stocks. The fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in U.S. dollar-denominated securities of non-U.S. issuers traded in the United States that are not in the S&P 500.
The investment seeks investment results that generally correspond (before fees and expenses) to the price and yield of the S&P 500® Low Volatility High Dividend Index. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its total assets in securities that comprise the underlying index. S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC compiles maintains and calculates the underlying index, which is composed of 50 securities in the S&P 500® Index that historically have provided high dividend yields with lower volatility.
The investment seeks investment results that replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the performance of the S-Network® Sector Dividend Dogs Index. The underlying index is a rules-based index intended to give investors a means of tracking the overall performance of the highest dividend paying stocks in the S&P 500 on a sector-by-sector basis. The fund generally will invest in all of the securities that comprise the underlying index in proportion to their weightings in the underlying index. However, under various circumstances, it may not be possible or practicable to purchase all of the securities in the underlying index in those weightings.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
