Description
The investment seeks to provide total return, consisting of current income and capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in income-producing (dividend-paying) equity securities. It invests primarily in common stocks, but may invest in other types of equity securities, including preferred stocks and convertible securities. The fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in debt securities, including securities that, at the time of purchase, are rated below investment grade or are unrated but determined by the Sub-Adviser to be of comparable quality.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the Dow Jones U.S. Dividend 100™Index. The fund invests at least 90% of its net assets in stocks that are included in the index. The index is designed to measure the performance of high dividend yielding stocks issued by U.S. companies that have a record of consistently paying dividends, selected for fundamental strength relative to their peers, based on financial ratios.
The investment seeks to track the performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment return of large-capitalization value stocks. The fund employs an indexing investment approach designed to track the performance of the CRSP US Large Cap Value Index, a broadly diversified index predominantly made up of value stocks of large U.S. companies. The advisor attempts to replicate the target index by investing all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the index.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
