The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing primarily in large-capitalization companies, that often are market leaders in their industry, with established operating records that the advisor believes may accelerate or grow their dividend payout ratio and that also demonstrate favorable prospects for total return. It invests at least 80% of its net assets in dividend-paying equity securities. Although the fund invests primarily in U.S. securities, it may invest up to 25% of its total assets in foreign securities.
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the Dow Jones U.S. Broad Stock Market Index. The fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets in stocks that are included in the index. The index includes the largest 2,500 publicly traded U.S. companies for which pricing information is readily available. The index is a float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index that reflects the shares of securities actually available to investors in the marketplace.

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
