The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of its underlying index, the Workplace Equality Index™ (the "index").
The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in securities that comprise the underlying index. The underlying index consists of approximately 200 publicly traded stocks of U.S. and foreign companies which support equality for LGBT employees through their workplace practices, including non-discrimination policies regarding sexual orientation and gender identity and providing full benefits to for same-sex spouses, domestic partners and transgender individuals.
The investment seeks to maximize total return, consisting of capital appreciation and current income.
To achieve its investment objective, the fund invests in, or seeks exposure to, companies based on various financial factors and fundamental sustainability factors such as environmental, social and governance performance of such companies. The fund invests in equity securities, which include, but are not limited to, dividend-paying securities, common stock, and preferred stock, shares of investment companies, convertible securities, warrants and rights.
