Description
The investment seeks capital appreciation and secondarily to provide shareholders with income through dividends. The fund pursues its investment objectives by applying a hybrid research process, which uses both quantitative and qualitative criteria. The Advisor uses the Zacks Rank, a proprietary model, to quantitatively assess the attractiveness of a large universe of stocks based primarily on an analysis of changing patterns of earnings estimates for a company. It invests primarily in equity securities of U.S. issuers. The fund also may invest in equity securities of Canadian issuers and American Depository Receipts ("ADRs").
The investment seeks to track as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the total return of the Dow Jones U.S. Broad Stock Market Index. The fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets in stocks that are included in the index. The index includes the largest 2,500 publicly traded U.S. companies for which pricing information is readily available. The index is a float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index that reflects the shares of securities actually available to investors in the marketplace.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the S&P Total Market Index™ (TMI), which is comprised of the common equities included in the S&P 500® and the S&P Completion Index™. The fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in securities of the underlying index and in depositary receipts representing securities of the underlying index. It may invest the remainder of its assets in certain futures, options and swap contracts, cash and cash equivalents, including shares of money market funds advised by BFA or its affiliates, as well as in securities not included in the underlying index.

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
