The investment seeks to generate a high level of current income consistent with prudent investment risk. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in a diversified portfolio of corporate bonds, U.S. government and agency securities, convertible securities and preferred securities. The Investment Manager will only purchase securities for the fund that are investment grade, with a rating of at least "BBB" as rated by Standard & Poor's or a comparable rating by another nationally recognized rating agency. The fund will not invest in Excluded Securities.
The investment seeks a favorable long-term total return through income and capital appreciation while giving special consideration to certain environmental, social and governance ("ESG") criteria. The fund invests at least 80% of its assets in bonds. For these purposes, bonds include fixed-income securities of all types. It primarily invests in a broad range of investment-grade bonds and fixed-income securities, including, but not limited to, U.S. government securities, corporate bonds, taxable municipal securities and mortgage-backed or other asset backed-securities.
The investment seeks a high level of current income consistent with safety and preservation of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes) in a diversified portfolio of bonds and other fixed income instruments. Fixed income instruments may include, but are not limited to, U.S. Treasuries and Agency debt, debt of government-related entities, corporate bonds, commercial and residential mortgage-backed securities, convertible bonds and asset-backed securities. The fund invests mainly in domestic securities, and to a lesser extent may also invest in U.S. dollar denominated foreign securities.
