The investment seeks to maximize total return. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes in a diversified portfolio of securitized obligations of any kind (including asset-backed securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities and collateralized mortgage obligations). It will invest primarily in securities that are investment grade. The fund may invest up to 15% of its total assets in bonds that are below investment grade, which are commonly referred to as "high yield" or "junk" bonds.
The investment seeks a total return consisting of capital appreciation and income that exceeds the total return of the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index (the "index"). The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes (measured at the time of purchase) ("Net Assets") in fixed income securities, including securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government, its agencies, instrumentalities or sponsored enterprises, corporate debt securities, privately issued adjustable rate and fixed rate mortgage loans or other mortgage-related securities and asset-backed securities.
The investment seeks a high and stable rate of current income, consistent with long-term preservation of capital. The fund invests in a diversified portfolio of high-quality bonds and other debt securities. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in (1) investment-grade debt securities and (2) cash equivalents. "Investment grade" means securities rated Baa3 or higher by Moody's Investors Service, or BBB- or higher by Standard & Poor's Ratings Group or Fitch Ratings, or equivalently rated by any nationally recognized statistical rating organization, or, if unrated, deemed to be of similar quality by Dodge & Cox.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
