The investment seeks to provide investment results approximating the overall performance of the securities included in the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. The fund will invest substantially all (and at least 80%) of its net assets in bonds and other fixed-income securities included in the index in weightings that approximate the relative composition of securities contained in the index. The index measures the investment grade, U.S. dollar-denominated, fixed-rate taxable bond market, including Treasuries, government-related and corporate securities, mortgage-backed securities asset-backed securities, and commercial mortgage-backed securities.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the aggregate price and interest performance of the debt securities in the Barclays® U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. The fund normally invests at least 80% of the fund's assets in bonds included in the Barclays® U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. Its manager uses statistical sampling techniques based on duration, maturity, interest rate sensitivity, security structure, and credit quality to attempt to replicate the returns of the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index using a smaller number of securities. The fund invests in Fidelity's central funds.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Index. The fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index or in securities that the Adviser determines have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities that comprise the index. The index is designed to measure the performance of the U.S. dollar denominated investment grade bond market. The fund is non-diversified.
