The fund, under normal circumstances, invests at least 80% of its assets (net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in fixed-income securities that the fund's Subadvisor believes will replicate the performance of the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. It may invest in U.S. dollar-denominated foreign securities that are issued by companies organized outside the U.S. The fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in options and futures contracts.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the aggregate price and interest performance of the debt securities in the Barclays® U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. The fund normally invests at least 80% of the fund's assets in bonds included in the Barclays® U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. Its manager uses statistical sampling techniques based on duration, maturity, interest rate sensitivity, security structure, and credit quality to attempt to replicate the returns of the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index using a smaller number of securities. The fund invests in Fidelity's central funds.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. The index measures the performance of the total U.S. investment-grade bond market. The index includes investment-grade U.S. Treasury bonds, government-related bonds, corporate bonds, mortgage-backed pass-through securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities and asset-backed securities that are publicly offered for sale in the United States. The fund generally invests approximately 90% of its assets in the bonds represented in the index and in securities that provide substantially similar exposure to securities in the index.

The fees, balance and savings information above are estimated numbers, based on the data FeeX had at the day of publication, but may not be accurate due to incomplete or erroneous data.

The best choice is based on a combined analysis of lowest fees and highest similarity to the original fund.

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
