Description
The investment seeks high current return. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its assets in mortgage-backed securities. Mortgage-backed securities may be issued by government-sponsored entities such as the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) or the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) and by agencies of the U.S. government, such as the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae). It may invest in government stripped mortgage-backed securities and other stripped securities. The fund may invest in securities of any maturity or duration, and the securities may have fixed, floating or variable rates.
The investment seeks to track the investment results of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. CMBS (ERISA Only) Index. The index measures the performance of investment-grade commercial mortgage-backed securities ("CMBS"), which are classes of securities (known as "certificates") that represent interests in "pools" of commercial mortgages. The fund generally will invest at least 90% of its assets in the component securities of the underlying index and may invest up to 10% of its assets in certain futures, options and swap contracts, cash and cash equivalents.
The investment seeks a high level of current income. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in debt securities of all types and repurchase agreements for those securities. The manager uses the Barclays® U.S. Universal Bond Index as a guide in allocating assets across the investment-grade, high yield, and emerging market asset classes. It invests up to 20% of assets in lower-quality debt securities (those of less than investment-grade quality, also referred to as high yield debt securities or junk bonds).

Similarity

FeeX's similarity algorithm analyzes over 15 investment characteristics like investment category, asset allocation, strategy, geographical allocation and more. FeeX gives each its own weight and calculates the similarity of any two investments based on a scale of 0 to 100%. Funds with a similarity ranking of 85% and higher are considered "similar".

Yes, funds and ETFs charge fees

Deep within every fund you own lies a hidden fee called expense ratio. It takes away a set % of your savings each and every year. It can often be easily reduced by switching to similar investments with lower expense ratios.
